So, MSI was last night. Although, I'll spare talking about it too much, since the only people who read this and care about MSI at all were at the show anyway.

Ah, good stuff.

Today I had to miss learning my curtain/lighting cues for the play 'cause I had to get my toe all eerhdhdghd-ified. And by that I of course mean that I needed to endure 15 minutes of agony. After 3 shots of Novocaine, my toe still hurt like a bitch when the podiatrist lady tried to clean it out [gross details have been omitted]. Anyway, then I needed a fourth shot and I had a Vasovagal attack (= bad; ≠ vaseline + vag). Yeah, so I came home and lay down in my bed (in extreme pain, mind you!) and fell asleep. Yeah, very climactic, I know.

Anyway, vacation next week... aren't you all excited?

BRAKES (!)(P)

Yes, believe it or not, I am alive, and I am updating! Truly amazing... Anyway, this update is mostly because Priscilla is away, and I am lonely... and my car's brakes are about 95% gone.
They've been grinding for about a week now, indicating my brake pads are gone. I intended to bring the car in tomorrow to get it looked at... *looks at clock* er.... later today...
But today I was driving down Main street with Nick and Dennis to go to Lawrence to see White Noise (which was okay, nothing spectacular), and my brakes were grinding...
AND THEN! They stopped grinding, the pedal sunk in an additional 5 inches or so, and it became very difficult to stop. A light came on that said "BRAKES (!)(P)", which I assume is bad. I hope I can get it fixed later...
Other events of the day included Nick riding on top of my car in an empty parking lot, driving by Tommy Cahill's house at night beeping the horn, Nick and Den spray-painting my name onto my bumper and putting a sock on my antenna, and driving through an unfinished tunnel near Cross Point. It appears that my money troubles are solvéd!
Over the weekend I got a raise, so I now make per hour: DUN DUN DAAAA! $10! That's really good.
Also, a certain item I was going to purchase dropped nearly $50 in price (holy moses!).
Recently I've taken up going to Guard Up in Burlington for sword lessons. I go to Fencing from 7:30 to 8:30 pm and then straight to Historical Weapons (right now, German Longsword) from 8:30 to 9:30. It's so awesome.
Uhm... maybe I'll start utilizing my school parking permit soon..? And, come January, mayhaps a few lucky people (probably the only ones that read this journal) can get rides to and from school from me, if they so desire.
Well, it's getting late, so I'ma turn in.

Okay, so this week I saw Priscilla Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and when I got home today my mom had left note basically saying no one was coming over and I wasn't going anywhere. I was not happy.
At 8:00 I had an introduction class to Guard-Up in Burlington. Today was a Kendo class, and I think I am going to be signing up in time to start in with German Longsword training around the beginning of October. Fun!
I felt like a jerk though, 'cause by the time I got back it was an hour later than I thought I would ._.;;
Well, anyway...
My updates suck. I'ma go do... something.

Yes, well.... it seems I haven't updated recently, so...
What to talk about...
Today was the second day of school, and my second day of suffering through painting and ceramics. Then, I missed lunch for the second day in a row (that's two out of two, nice going, Jon...) because I was in guidance. Luckily I got right in and finally got out of that damned painting and ceramics class and got photography instead. Weeee ^-^!
So up to this point the day sucked. You're expecting me to come up with something good, next, right? Nope. I got home and was locked out of my house, so I had to wait until my mum got home.
BUT THEN! Priscilla came over, so the day actually got a lot better hehe <3.
And now... the long weekend! *reclines on a chair and sips lemonade* Oh, wait though... I can't relax, 'cause I'm in an AP course! AGH! *falls into that endless pit... you know the one. Don't act stupid*
Yes, I think I've quite accomplished my goals for this update, so I'll stop wasting your time right...... NOW!

THE CAMP-OUT

Okay, so Greg, Kevin, Nick, Bobby (for part of the night) and I camped out in the woods last night. It was a really good time.
First item we took care of: The tent. Turns out those are a bitch to set up, and we lost 2 of the stakes in the sand somehow (sand, because we were next to a quadding circuit).
Second item: The FIRE. We managed to make a pretty kick-ass fire, around which we sat, played guitar, ate snacks, and listened to music all night. Kevin had his quad, so we all took it out for a few runs on the circuit.
Third item: put Jon in charge of destroying the quad. I had never driven a quad before, which is unlike a snowmobile or jet ski in that you have to shift gears. Being inexperienced, alone, and driving at 1:00 am with limited knowledge about the different paths on the circuit is a formula for disaster. Greg let me take the quad alone, which allowed me to get used to shifting gears and such. Unfortunately, I didn't know what path to take to get back to the camp site. I took the wrong one. I come up over a hill and just say "Oh, SHI-!" as I go down the other side of the hill (very steep) and head-long into the ground. The quad came up off the back two wheels, I hit the handlebars and got a nice scratch (of which there is a picture on the website I will later mention), then the quad rolled over. Luckily, I was thrown off mid-roll and avoided getting crushed. I flipped it back over and tried to start it. Eventually, the others came and helped me push it out of the ditch I was in because it wouldn't start. We eventually got it to start.
Fourth item: Chill out. This is the part where we hooked up some speakers to Kevin's iPod and sat around the fire. Then we hung out in the tent (way too tiny for comfort) and came back to re-build the fire (sorta). At this point it was about 5:00 am, so we didn't go to sleep. After that we packed up and headed home, but the memory lives on!

Nachos and a free movie, fecking awesome I tell you. Hmm... well, that's basically what happened today, so...

Well, it's Sunday... I went for my license yesterday and I figure I should probably update to say I got it and all. Unfortunately, my mom is being dumb and won't let me take people in the car with me... Yeah, it IS a law, but so is the law that says "at a wake, mourners may eat no more than three sandwiches". (No, that really is a law in Massachusetts. Seriously, look it up). Anyway, I like being alone (with the exception of very special people... actually 'person'...).

Update!

Well, it seems it's been awhile since I updated... so here I am.
A lot of things seem to be finally coming together. Yesterday I got my boating license so I can now drive my jet ski and my boat (though my dad would never let me drive that by myself). Today my dad registered my car, so I have to work off about $200 to pay him back. Saturday I'm going for my driver's license and I'm gonna kick myself in the ass if I fail, which would be just like me to do. Also, I'm finally getting my parents to think about getting me a new laptop (even though I'd have to pay for half, most likely...). Also, I'm starting fencing lessons on Monday, which should be interesting.
Other than that, I still miss Priscilla (go figure)...
...And... I just got out of work and I smell like oil, so I'm gonna go take care of that.

Beach Bash?

So today my family decides to awaken me from a very pleasant sleep to go to the beach. What a waste of my life.
We literally spent 2 hours in traffic looking in vain for an open parking spot. Then I managed to escape and walk along the overly crowded strip of shops and stuff...
I spent 2 hours walking around cursing all the stupid people (which included everyone) until I found a nice little shop with lots of weaponry hanging up. I viewed a nice selection of swords, axes, knives, throwing stars, flails, daggers, etc. and eventually asked the guy if I could see a broad sword I was interested in.
Of course, I was given some crap about having to be 18 years old.
Then I went back to the beach and drank some soda as I sat on our cooler being pelted with sand. I couldn't wait to leave.
We finally left, and I figured maybe I could relax for a bit. Unfortunately for me, a lot of things piss me off.
As we were driving down the highway, I noticed that the car in front of us had a bumper sticker that read 'got Jesus?'. I wondered to myself why someone would rip off an already terrible slogan to promote their religion to people that don't give a fuck and never will. Then we switched lanes and directly in front of us was a mini van with a bumper sticker that said 'Got God?'. Covered in sand, needing sleep, exhausted from the heat, and having to look at shitty bumper stickers all day made me really want to kill someone. I really wished I had been able to buy that sword...
On top of all this, I still miss Priscilla and I probably have to work a lot this week.
I am in a bad mood.

Yeah, so WOO, it's summer. Big fucking deal...
There aren't too many good things about summer. Not having all that stress from school every single day and not seeing all kinds of shitty people is a plus. It also thunderstorms, which is always cool. But other than that, I'd have to say that summer is pretty worthless. It's way too hot, mosquitoes are everywhere, people are always partying, my family always wants to do stupid things that I hate, like going to pools and beaches...
To me, summer just equals even more time for me to be a recluse. More time for me to sit alone in my room, listening to music. On the other hand (trite, but oh well...), I get to see Priscilla more often (outside the school setting, of course).
Well, I'm just going in circles about the whole summer thing, so... *changes subject*

Today was that party bit over at Kevin's. It was okay, I guess... I'm not really one for parties though. The highlight was definitely the Freebird solo with the fireworks. That was such a rush, crouched down, running to each firework to light the fuse, and seeing all these huge explosions of color above me; all this while Freebird screamed out of Eric's guitar. That kid is incredible at guitar, to be put so lightly. Other than that, I basically wandered aimlessly with Priscilla and Lauren. Although I did get in a few games of 4-square. And uhm... yup.
